The Managing Director is responsible for leading operations in the polish subsidiary, delivering growth and profitability to the Group. Main responsibilities include delivering gross profit, leading cross-functional expansion projects, working with different business teams (i.e. support team, marketing team) across the company. The Managing Director is expected to manage operations in accordance with company’s values and principles, as well as to help build its international business.

The selected Candidate will report to the Group CEO, CCO, COO, or Regional Managers, depending on the specific country and business structure.


Responsibilities:


Growth & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve ambitious growth and profitability targets across e-commerce and finance verticals.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate partnerships within specific segments or categories to expand the e-commerce basket business and differentiate the finance business.
  • Define operational focus and establish clear timelines to achieve goals.


Sales & Relationship Management:

  • Drive sales initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with key advertisers and partners.
  • Maintain partner and advertiser classifications to ensure effective management.
  • Utilize the CRM system effectively to track sales activity and relationships.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
  • Delegate responsibilities and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a positive and motivated team environment.
  • Organize workflows and processes to optimize team efficiency.
  • Utilize the HR platform for performance management (check-ins, 1-on-1s, OKRs, reviews).
  • Identify and implement employee development opportunities.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other Country Managers and departments to enhance cross-country advertiser and partner acquisition efforts.
  • Manage subsidiary operations effectively.
  • Serve as the President of the local subsidiary board.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for accounting and payroll services.
  • Oversee office-related responsibilities.
  • Contribute to overall company growth through brand building and other strategic initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in driving sales and business development in the online marketing industry (preferred: affiliate marketing networks, programmatic advertising platforms, ad networks, AdTech and MarTech solutions providers)
  • Extensive experience in building, motivating, and managing high-performing sales and account management teams.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, online marketing trends, and the affiliate marketing landscape.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic plans and leverage analytical skills to drive business growth.
  • Proven experience in fostering successful cross-country cooperation.
  • Open-minded, optimistic, and able to set the direction and inspire your team.
  • Proactive and willing to implement changes that move the business forward.
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo to achieve optimal results.
  • Fluent in English written and spoken and Native Polish (Mandatory)
