Wyser is conducting recruitment for our client, a private equity fund. This fund acquires medium-sized companies in special situations across Europe, focusing on firms with significant operational improvement potential. The goal is to achieve sustainable, long-term growth through strategic acquisitions and active support from investment, financial and consulting teams. We are looking for a candidate who is open to business travel across Europe.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager or Associate Director to join international finance team. This role involves managing the improvement processes of PE portfolio companies, working closely with local management boards to build value. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, structuring financing, and operational transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage restructuring and improvement processes for portfolio companies to enhance cash management processes.
• Collaborate with local CFOs and management boards to prepare turnaround concepts through financial analysis and integrated financial models.
• Prepare and implement financial solutions such as factoring, asset-based funding, and credit lines.
• Streamline month-end closing processes and participate in other financial/controlling processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audits.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, financial advisors, banks, and credit insurers.

Qualifications:

• Higher education in finance or management.
• At least 6-7 years of international experience in Big4 firms, investment banking, management consulting, or controlling/finance departments, preferably with exposure to restructuring projects.
• Exceptional ability to find and implement creative solutions, with resilience to stress and the ability to work under time pressure.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is highly desirable.
• Strong financial modeling and cash flow forecasting skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willingness to travel across Europe (typically Monday to Thursday).
