For our Client, oone of the leading companies with a unique retail/omichannel model and a complex organizational structure we are looking for a person for the Head of HR position. 


About Role:

This role is to ensure leadership to all people processes by implementing and executing strategies, actions plans and standards. This position is a strategic partner with strong leadership in developing and implementing Human Resource initiatives such as talent attraction& recruitment & management, organization design, employee relations and process, l&d, payroll management and all relevant compliance activities. 


This role requires experience in a dynamic, matrix enviroment, hands-on attitude, flexibility and what more- ability to drive change management and continuous improvement. 

Due to the transformation the company is facing, this job involves working in the model of 4 days in the office (in the center of Warsaw) + 1 day HO. 


Job description:

  • Function as a strategic business partner to the Senior Management 
  • Redefine a clear quality service delivery model and set guidelines and principles for HR 
  • Manage and develop the HR team to support objectives, action plans and targets across divisions
  • Create own HR policies and regulations (work regulations, benefits etc)
  • Create an HR department improvement plan and implement it agilely in the short and long term
  • Develop market leading employment branding and talent attraction strategies
  • Develop and maintain attractive retention and remuneration packages and career structures
  • Develop strong cross collaboration all business areas on all recruitment processes and activities
  • Build organisational capability through ownership of talent management processes 
  • Maintain and develop onboarding processes and manage employee engagement survey results
  • Train, lead and coach Managers to support an environment that encourages personal and professional development, through knowledge transfer and succession planning
  • Oversee the management of the Payroll function
  • Drive positive employee relations to provide and optimal work environment
  • Create and manage internal communication plans at related to organizational updates and changes, policy deployment, announcements, activities and events etc
  • Direct responsibility and control over the budget



Requirements:

  • Min 5 years as HR Director in a matrix, dynamic company 
  • Experience in a retail/omnichannel company preferred
  • Ability to think strategically and execute objectives dynamically, creating change with a great sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Strong business acumen and ability to set and deliver upon HR strategies, actions and plans in support of business objectives
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills, including an approachable, hands-on style and the ability to coach and inspire team members
  • Solid knowledge and application of employment law, HR principles, best practices, and key metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and presentation skills, strong initiative and the ability to be self-directed in completing tasks as well as problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in Polish & English language
