Our Client

Our client is one of the fastest-growing retail groups in Europe, operating across multiple countries. The company is entering a critical phase of its technology transformation and is preparing to replace its heavily customized and outdated system with a new, scalable global platform.

This transformation is one of the most ambitious in the company's history — global in scale, cross-functional in scope, and central to its growth strategy. With the RFP process now underway and the implementation set to launch this year, we are seeking an experienced transformation leader to step in and take full ownership of this initiative.


The Role

This is a mission-critical interim leadership role, responsible for shaping and driving the ERP implementation program across all phases — from strategy and vendor selection through to execution and go-live.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the ERP implementation program end-to-end (RFP finalization, vendor and partner selection, implementation launch)
  • Designing the program structure, governance model, and cross-functional delivery team
  • Acting as the central orchestrator between ERP vendors (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft), implementation partners, and internal business stakeholders
  • Owning ERP readiness workstreams, including process documentation, master data cleansing, and simplification in Finance and Procurement
  • Advising the CIO, Finance Director, and Transformation Office on key program decisions
  • Initiating internal capability building and shaping the future in-house ERP delivery team


The Profile

We are looking for a high-impact leader with the following experience and competencies:

  • Proven track record in leading complex ERP transformation programs from RFI/RFP through go-live
  • Strong domain expertise in Finance and Procurement (process design, controls, compliance, master data architecture)
  • Hands-on mindset — capable of building from scratch, writing requirements, and managing execution
  • Experience in managing ERP vendors and global implementation partners (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft)
  • Background in multi-country retail or FMCG organizations is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills across geographies and cultures
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity, and lead through change in a fast-paced environment
