Our Client is one of leading international eCommerce platform operating in multiple European markets, offering fashion & lifestyle products to millions of customers.
The company holds a stable market position and aims to strengthen its in-house marketing team with an ambitious, high-potential candidate who has a strong willingness to make a real impact, drive results, and fast-track into a Head of Performance role within the organization.
This role involves direct collaboration with the CMO, Founders, and colleagues from other channels, overseeing an annual advertising budget of more than €10M. We're searching for someone who will be a trusted partner in discussions, isn't afraid to get things done and take full accountability, and will reinvent the company's Search strategy to reach the next level.
Job scope:
- Lead and grow the Search Marketing Unit, focusing on optimizing performance across both Paid Search (PPC) and organic search (SEO).
- Drive and optimize Paid Search campaigns across Text & Shopping Ads, strategically leveraging advanced features like Performance Max to achieve top-tier results.
- Develop and execute a data-driven strategy for comprehensive tracking, attribution, automation, and continuous innovation across all search channels.
- Mentor and expand a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and strong ownership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Tech, Category Management, and Creative teams to maximize the impact and synergy of all search initiatives.
- Partner directly with senior leadership to shape and advance the strategic direction of overall search marketing efforts.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of search engine algorithm updates, evolving SEO trends, SEM platform changes, and emerging search-related opportunities and risks.
Requirements:
- Several years of in-house experience in fast-growing e-commerce environments
- Advanced expertise in SEM including Text Ads, Shopping Ads, and Performance Max
- Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes and managing multi-million Euro SEM budgets with clear ROI
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, lead by example and inspire others
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit (startup/side project experience is a plus)
- Motivated by making a real impact, continuous improvement, and personal/organizational growth
- Exhibits action-oriented mentality, focuses on solutions over problems, and prioritizes rapid execution
- Possesses strong personal drive, ambition, a relentless drive to win and take bold action
- Excellent academic background
- Must have excellent English communication skills (C1+)
