Wyser on behalf of Our client, is seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead the Polish subsidiary, specializing in the production and commercialization of coffee. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar leadership role in multinational context within the coffee industry, the food sector, or a process-driven manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and leading a high-performing team.
Your Mission
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets in Poland.
- Commercial Excellence: Drive sales, expand market share, and cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective production processes, maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, optimize costs, and deliver strong financial performance.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in a General Manager or similar senior leadership role within the coffee industry, food production, or process manufacturing.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong expertise in mass-market distribution and other channels like Food Service and HORECA and commercial strategies within the FMCG sector.
- Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Financial Acumen: Solid experience in P&L management, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Polish market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory environment.
- Language Skills: Polish Mother tongue, Fluent in English.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Strategic & Operational Balance: Ability to drive high-level strategic initiatives while ensuring day-to-day operational efficiency.
