Opis Stanowiska

The recruitment process is conducted by Wyser for a company belonging to an international capital group, owned by a renowned Private Equity fund. Our client operates in the CEE region. The capital group is active in the service industry and is a regional champion. The Polish business segment represents over 30% of the group’s total revenue, making it the largest market in a rapidly growing business.

The employer is a recognizable brand trusted by customers. The role of the Finance Director is embedded within the local company’s board. The Polish company’s management reports to the group’s board and supervisory board. The local management has autonomy in decision-making and shaping the business strategy.

The capital group, for which recruitment is being conducted, plans intensive growth through both organic means and acquisitions. Their strategic plan for 2023-2025 aims to strengthen their position as a leader in their category within the CEE region. The fund, which owns the capital group, is planning an exit process from the investment. The workplace will be the company’s office in Warsaw.


  • Serving as a Member of the Board responsible for finance
  • Managing the finance and accounting team (9 FTEs)
  • Acting as a finance-business partner for senior managers
  • Handling investment processes: organic growth, M&A
  • Responsible for planning, budgeting, and reporting processes
  • Ensuring internal control within the capital group
  • Improving operational reporting
  • Regular reporting to the Supervisory Board and the Group Management


  • Higher education (finance, economics, management, law, or related fields)
  • Over 10 years of professional experience as a Finance Director
  • Experience in industries such as fin-tech, insur-tech, or e-commerce is desirable
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and persuasion abilities
  • Proficient communication in English
  • Highly developed leadership competencies
