About the client:

Our client is a growing regional business in the parcel delivery sector, operating in a fast-moving environment where reliable systems, strong data quality, and efficient processes are essential to business performance. The company is looking for an experienced interim leader who will bring structure, ownership, and momentum to its business systems landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and oversee the company’s business systems environment supporting operations, finance, commercial processes, and reporting.
  • Ensure system stability, business continuity, and consistency of data and reporting.
  • Gather, prioritize, and translate business needs into system improvements and target solutions.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery oversight of implementation and development projects across core platforms, including DRS, TMS, ERP, CRM, as well as analytics and reporting tools, ensuring strong execution, alignment with business priorities, and measurable impact on operational performance.
  • Manage external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring quality, pace, and accountability.
  • Work closely with business, architecture, data, and project teams to improve functionality, integrations, and overall system effectiveness.
  • Introduce stronger governance across change management, releases, documentation, testing, and delivery standards.
  • Lead assigned teams and ensure clear priorities, accountability, and effective cross-functional collaboration.


Essential Qualifications:


  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data & Analytics, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or systems transformation.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role with responsibility for business-critical systems.
  • Proven experience in system transformation, cross-functional delivery, and vendor management.
  • Strong understanding of process logic, data quality, integrations, and reporting.
  • Experience in complex or compliance-sensitive environments is an advantage.
  • Fluent English.
